How To Get Involved With PEART

PEART4

If you would like to volunteer your time to assist animals in emergencies and disasters, you need to join PEART! In order to provide safe and effective services for animals and their caretakers in this community, PEART requires its members to fill out and sign various documents upon joining. Those documents and other important materials are provided below. Documents that are to be filled out are highlighted in red.

You may mail the completed documents to Forsyth County Public Safety Center, c/o Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Emergency Management, Michelle Brock, 301 N. Church St, Winston-Salem, NC 27101), or bring them to one of our regional meetings or training events. An email address is included in the documents, if you wish to scan your completed documents and send via email.

If you are a fire department, rescue organization, animal control or humane organization, call our office for more information on PEART training and involvement: 336-917-7074

The best way to get started is to show up at a meeting or training event. We work with all types of animals and people!
