The President Declares Emergency for NC

Sep 2, 2010

The President declares emergency for the state of North Carolina.  Hurricane Earl will be sweeping by the North Carolina coast tonight and Friday morning. No major impacts are expected in Forsyth County, but emergency management officials and other emergency response agencies in Forsyth County are on standby for our neighbors in the Eastern portion of the state.

Officials will also be monitoring two tropical systems in the Atlantic behind Hurricane Earl: Fiona and Gaston. Be sure you have plans in place for you and your family to stay prepared and stay alert!
